The work continues
SUPPORT US
Shadow to Shine runs on the belief that everyone has a role to play in creating a more equitable world of work. Whether you have time, expertise, or resources to offer there's a way to get involved that makes a real difference.

BECOME A MENTOR
Our mentors are one of the most powerful forces in a young person's journey. Not because they have all the answers, but because they've walked paths that our participants are just beginning to navigate.

Mentoring involves:
-
A six-month commitment, typically one session per month
-
Matching with a young person in an aligned career area
-
A structured framework and full support from our team
-
Flexible format, in person or remote, whatever works for you

MAKE A DONATION
Every pound donated to Shadow to Shine goes directly into the programmes, resources, and support that help young people access and sustain meaningful careers.
We are a small team with a big reach and your contribution, at any level, extends that reach further.

What your donation supports:
-
Programme delivery and facilitation
-
Travel and access costs for participants who couldn't otherwise attend
-
Mentoring coordination and ongoing alumni support
-
Resources and materials for workshop sessions

VOLUNTEER
Not ready to commit to a full mentoring relationship? There are other meaningful ways to show up for our young people.

Ways to volunteer:
-
Guest speaker — share your career story at one of our programmes or insight days
-
Workshop facilitator — lead a session on your area of expertise
-
Event support — help us run graduation ceremonies, insight days, and community events
-
Skills-based volunteering — offer your professional expertise in areas like marketing, legal, finance, or design to support the organisation itself

All volunteering is flexible and shaped around what you can offer. Get in touch and we'll find the right fit.
SPREAD THE WORD
Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is simply tell people we exist.
If you know a young person who could benefit from our programmes, a professional who would make a brilliant mentor, or an organisation that should be talking to us about partnership make the introduction.

Follow us, share our work, and help us reach the young people and partners who need to find us.
