PARTNERSHIPS

The most forward-thinking organisations don't just invest in future talent, they help create the conditions for them to thrive in.

At Shadow to Shine, we work alongside employers to build meaningful pathways into industry, connecting young people with opportunities while helping organisations develop accessible, stronger, and more inclusive talent pipelines.

We've spent six years building something that works. Our programmes create opportunities that connect young people with the skills, networks, experiences and support they need to succeed. But we've learned that access is only part of the story.

Real impact happens when talented young people are not only given opportunities, but are supported to grow, contribute and progress. That's why our partnerships are designed to go beyond one-off interventions, helping organisations engage future talent while creating environments where that talent can thrive.

When you partner with us

  1. You are NOT ticking a box, you're becoming part of a legacy story that outlasts any single programme or financial year.

  2. You ARE investing in young people, strengthening your workforce, and contributing to a more equitable future of work.

Here's what that looks like in practice:

  • Opportunities to engage, inspire and develop the next generation of talent within your industry

  • Access to a pipeline of talented, motivated young people from underrepresented backgrounds

  • Support in creating talent pathways that foster growth, belonging and long-term success

  • Expertly designed programmes and experiences that deliver measurable outcomes (We do the heavy lifting!)

  • Insight into the barriers and opportunities shaping young people's career journeys

  • Meaningful employee engagement through mentoring, programme delivery and volunteering

  • Credible social impact data to support ESG, CSR and people strategy objectives

WHAT OUR PARTNERS SAY

We're proud to work alongside organisations that understand not only the business case for social mobility, but the human one too.

INSANITY PROGRAMME PARTNER

“They’re incredible, truly budding stars of our industry. They were so considered with their responses and questions. So engaged and in turn left us feeling so fulfilled. A lovely moment to have been involved with - thanks all!”

WAYS TO PARTNER WITH US

Every partnership looks different. Whether you're introducing young people to your industry, helping them build confidence and skills, or exploring how to create stronger pathways for future talent within your organisation, we'll work with you to find the right level of involvement.

From a single insight day to a long-term strategic partnership, there are many ways to make a meaningful impact.

1. Insight Days

The lightest touch. The biggest first impression.

Open your doors to young people who've never had access to your world. We handle everything from curation, facilitation, to follow-up. You provide the space, the people, and the inspiration.

What it involves:

  • A half or full-day event at your workplace

  • Panel talks, Q&As, and hands-on activities

  • Facilitated by our team from start to finish

  • Often the first step before a deeper programme partnership

Best for: Organisations new to partnership work, or those wanting to test the waters before committing to a longer programme.

2. Industry Programmes

Where real transformation happens.

Co-designed with your organisation, our intensive industry programmes give young people immersive, real-world experience of your sector. They leave with skills, confidence, and connections and you leave with a direct pipeline into diverse, work-ready talent.

What it involves:

  • A six-week programme co-designed around your industry and organisation

  • Workshops, shadowing, and live project work

  • Opportunities to offer work experience, internships, or apprenticeships to selected participants

  • Full programme management by our team

  • Impact reporting at the end of the programme

Best for: Organisations with a clear commitment to social mobility and an interest in building a diverse talent pipeline.

3. Mentoring Partnership

Long-term investment. Lasting impact.

Provide mentors from your organisation to support young people for six months after they complete a programme. This is where careers are truly built one conversation, one connection, one piece of honest advice at a time.

What it involves:

  • Matching your employees with young people in aligned career areas

  • Structured mentoring framework, training and guidance from our team

  • Regular check-ins and progress updates

  • An opportunity for your employees to develop their own coaching and leadership skills

Best for: Organisations who want sustained, meaningful engagement with the young people they've already met through a programme.

4. Strategic Partnerships

Helping talent thrive, not just arrive.

The challenge isn't simply attracting diverse talent, it's creating cultures, pathways and opportunities that enable people to grow, belong and progress.

At Shadow to Shine, we help organisations bridge the gap between opportunity and progression. Combining our expertise in youth employment, employer engagement and talent development, we work with partners to design initiatives that strengthen talent pipelines, support inclusion, and create lasting impact for both young people and organisations.

Whether you're looking to review existing pathways, develop your people, co-design new initiatives or better understand the experiences of emerging talent, we'll work with you to create a partnership that delivers meaningful change.

Best for: Organisations committed to building workplaces where future talent can succeed.
